Your data, briefly.

This policy explains what personal information TQ Pool Services collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We try to keep this short — if anything's unclear, email info@tqpoolservices.com.

Who we are

TQ Pool Services is a mobile pool service business in Townsville, QLD. Trading address: 2 Allunga St, Kelso QLD 4815. Contact: 0488 355 111 / info@tqpoolservices.com.

What we collect

The only personal information we collect is what you give us when you book or get in touch:

• Contact details — name, phone, email, service address
• Booking details — pool type, preferred dates, any notes you send
• Photos — pool photos you upload through the booking form, used to size the job and bring the right gear
• Payment information — handled directly by Stripe / QuickBooks Online when payments come online; we don't see or store card numbers

We don't track you with analytics cookies on this site at the moment. If that changes, we'll update this policy and add a cookie notice.

How we use it

• To deliver the service you booked — confirm the slot, arrive prepared, balance the pool, send the report
• To invoice you — through QuickBooks Online, our accounting software
• To follow up — service reminders, photo and chemical reports, occasional check-ins about the next visit

We don't sell your information. We don't share it with third parties for marketing. We don't add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.

Where it's stored

Your contact and booking details live in two places:

• WordPress / Fluent Forms (this website) — hosted on SiteGround servers. Form entries are stored here so we can look back at them.
• QuickBooks Online — once you become a customer, your contact details and invoice history live in QBO.

Both providers are reputable services with their own security and privacy practices. Photos you upload are stored alongside the form entry and deleted once the job is done unless you've agreed we can keep one for our portfolio.

Who else sees it

• Ben Farrugia (owner) and any technicians servicing your pool
• QuickBooks Online (accounting / invoicing)
• Stripe (when payments come online — handles payment data only)
• Google (if we use Google Search Console to monitor the website's search performance — they see only aggregate visit data, not your personal information)

How long we keep it

Contact and booking records: as long as you're a customer, plus seven years to meet ATO record-keeping requirements. Photos: deleted after the job, unless we've discussed using one as a before/after example. Form entries from people who never converted to customers: deleted after twelve months.

Your rights

Under Australian privacy law you can:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or update anything that's wrong
• Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping obligations)
• Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you think we've mishandled your data

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date below. For significant changes (e.g. new third-party providers, new data collected), we'll also flag it on the home page for a couple of weeks.
